Application components automatically respond to changes in their environment. Once activated, new or amended components are automatically rolled out.

Each application and its runtime behavior is described and managed by a document, the System Document. Once the System Document is 'activated' the lightweight agents installed on each Infiniflow resource (physical and virtual) respond to capability requests and build themselves to perform the required functionality.

Infiniflow leverages OSGi and SCA. OSGi provides a dynamic, component, lifecycle framework for both the Infiniflow container and also the composite applications. SCA provides a protocol, language and runtime neutral component application wire-up description structure.
Infiniflow utilizes the standards and specification that all of the major application servers are adopting. Enabling applications to support these standards is a vendor independent, future proofing exercise.
POJO and Spring-based applications run natively on Infiniflow. Other programming models are supported by wrapping their components.
It's easy to implement Infiniflow to benefit from the increased productivity, enhanced agility and OPEX & CAPEX cost savings.
Hardware and operating system agnostic, Infiniflow abstracts the underlying compute resource from the application business logic.
Underutilized resources can be put to better use and new server purchase decisions can be simplified to being based on just price, performance and form factor metrics. Technology refresh becomes a run of the mill, business as usual activity, rather than a major high risk project.
Infiniflow has no single point of failure and no special frames of reference. Failure is expected, rather than the exception. Infiniflow focuses on minimizing recovery time rather than trying to stop things from breaking
Application and system availability is proven to be higher when you accept that failure is inevitable and stop spending lots of money trying to stop it from happening.
The VRM ensures the most efficient distribution of components, even under failure scenarios, across the available compute resource in order to meet defined SLA's and no requires no manual intervention. Automating the compute resources to deliver against application SLA's provides significant OPEX savings.
