Paremus Founder to Reveal Vision of Tomorrow’s Grid

Dr. Richard Nicholson joins Oracle and Sun in Grid Session at JavaOne

San Francisco, 27 th June 2005 – Paremus founder Dr Richard Nicholson will share a platform with representatives of Oracle Corp. and Sun Microsystems at the JavaOne conference in order to reveal a vision of tomorrow's grid.

The JavaOne conference, being held at the Moscone Center, San Francisco on June 27-30, provides the opportunity for IT professionals to benefit from in-depth education, real-world innovation and visionary insight while celebrating 10 years of Java™ technology. Instead of being limited to a shared technological or domain-specific theme, presentations in the Cool Stuff program open the eyes of Java platform developers to new possibilities and opportunities.

During the session entitled ‘Building Tomorrow's Grid', speakers from Oracle and Sun Microsystems will join Paremus' Nicholson to answer a number of questions raised by the brave, new, grid computing world. Specific areas to be addressed include: the impact of grid computing on application architecture; the Java platform's place in the future of grid computing; the role of Jini™ in grid computing and service-oriented architectures; how this relates to the utility datacenter in the enterprise; and the current state of grid standards.

“We consider Java and Jini to be the most important technology developments ever released by Sun Microsystems,” said Dr Richard Nicholson, CTO Paremus. “Java and Jini are key enablers for next generation enterprise transactional grids, and critical to realizing the unique autonomic capabilities of Infiniflow™, the enterprise service fabric solution developed by Paremus."
